Let There Be Light
Class Resources
First Presbyterian Church is blessed with 15 beautiful stained-glass windows located throughout the church. Each window tells a unique story both about the history of the Church and of Christ's life through the lens of scripture. Come join in a study of the life of Christ and Church history as shown through our very own church stained-glass windows. As a reference, we will use "A Guide To The Stained Glass Windows of the First Presbyterian Church of Lynchburg" written by Virginia Wiley in 1990. Copies of the book are available at the church.

Previous Study Resource Page
Before this current series, this class looked deeper into understanding God's promises to us using Max Lucado's work Unshakable Hope. Last spring the class narrowed in on God's promise to free us from anxiety and fear through the scriptures using Max Lucado's work Anxious for Nothing: Finding Calm in a Chaotic World as a guide. Click on the resource buttons to engage in self-study of both of these classes or to find our comprehensive resource page!
