Emily Barber just started at FPCLY in July of 2026. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 2023, majoring in Literature and Creative Writing. Her past work experience include reporting for The News and Advance, being a Document Control Specialist at Banker Steel, and being a freelance writer.
Emily found her love for the Presbyterian Church by working as summer staff for Montreat for two years! When not working, she can be found Sewing, crocheting, reading, or hanging out with her two cats, Bear and Moose.
