Geraldine Barksdale

Geraldine Barksdale has been serving as the FPCLY custodian since fall of 2021!  Each day she blesses each of us with her bright smile and kind, gentle spirit.  Geraldine is the proud mama of three children: TJ, Greg, and C’celia.  And she is a proud grandma to 11 grandkids. Geraldine loves to travel, draw, color, and to read the Bible.  Her favorite passage of scripture is Psalm 121, which begins with “I lift up my eyes to the hills—from where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand.” You may see Geraldine at the church in the early morning hours Monday through Friday and every other Sunday morning!
