Susan Hall began her staff journey as Finance Manager at First Presbyterian Church in May 2023. She joins us on staff after spending six years as the administrative assistant with an emphasis in financial management at Court Street United Methodist Church. Susan is a graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and has extensive working experience in the world of finance from previous roles—financial services representative at a university, business director at an assisted living facility, and branch manager at a bank. Susan has a lot of tools in her toolbox that will serve her well here at First Presbyterian!
Susan has been married to her husband Patrick for over 25 years and is mother to a set of fraternal twins, Braeden and Taylor, who are very active teenagers. When Susan gets a few free minutes to herself (and isn’t playing taxi to the kids), she enjoys reading books that have been recommended by her children. As a child, Susan wasn’t much of a “pleasure reader.” However, twenty years ago, her then six-year-old nephew gave her a hard time for not reading the Harry Potter books before seeing the movies. It didn't take long for her to pick up the book series and get to reading; she has been reading for enjoyment ever since. Susan’s favorite scripture verse is Luke 1:37, “For nothing will be impossible with God.”
