Sunday School

Nursery
Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers during the Sunday School hour and during all worship services. The nursery is located on the ground floor near the elevator and the back parking lot. It is staffed by paid professionals as well as by responsible parent and teen volunteers.
Sunday School
Two and three year old children are combined for Sunday school, which is taught in Room 7, located on the ground floor near the nursery and the back parking lot. The four year old Sunday school class is taught on the ground floor in Room 9.
Kindergarten meets in Room 14, and first and second graders are combined and meet in Room 15. Both classrooms are located on the ground floor near the back parking lot and the Fellowship Hall. Third graders meet in Room 118, and fourth graders meet in Room 120, both of which are located in the Sunday school wing on the sanctuary level. Fifth graders meet on the second floor, above the sanctuary level, in Room 212.
The sixth grade Sunday school class meets each week on the second floor of the church, above the sanctuary level, in Room 205. The seventh grade class meets nearby in Room 204.
The eighth grade Sunday school class meets in Room 1, located on the ground floor below the chapel. Confirmation classes are taught to our eighth graders during the Sunday school hour. See Confirmation for more information about this important eighth grade milestone.
Worship Workshop
Worship Workshop is a great option for your 3–6 year old children who are not ready to sit through the traditional worship service. Children interested in this alternative may exit through the rear doors of the sanctuary during the eleven o’clock service, after the “Time with the Children.” The children are escorted to the Worship Workshop (three and four year olds) and Gateways to Worship (Kindergarteners and 1st graders) classrooms for age appropriate lessons and crafts. The classrooms are located on the ground floor, near the elevator and the back parking lot. Parents are asked to meet their child in the classroom after the service.
