Vacation Bible School
For one week each summer, from 9:00 a.m. to noon, the church is filled with children enjoying Vacation Bible School. Bible School is open to children who are ages four to rising 5th graders. The dates and theme of Bible School are announced each spring, and members are encouraged to enroll their children, grandchildren and their friends. Many rewarding volunteer opportunities are available for parents, grandparents and teens.
Camp E.D.G.E. 2009
Vacation Bible School 2009 was a great success last year and took place from June 15th - June 19th from 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 Noon each day!!!
The theme was Camp E.D.G.E where kids will Experience and Discover God Everywhere!
The co-directors were Betsy Rhodes and Nancy Weaver.
Camp E.D.G.E VBS was not your typical stroll through the woods. It was an action-packed, adrenaline-filled expedition that taught kids that their strength and might come from God. Through rockin' music, larger-than-life recreation games, mind-boggling science activities, extreme sports videos, and cool, challenging crafts, kids learned how to live on the E.D.G.E. in their faith. The daily pledges of Camp E.D.G.E. are:
God is with me. I will stay close to God.
God guides me. I will follow.
God teaches me. I will learn.
God loves me. I will love God and others.
God sends me. I will go.
